After overcoming almost two years of delay in order to ensure a problem-free inaugural flight from SingaporeAirbus A380 touched down safely on the afternoon of Thursday October 25, 2007 in Sydney, Australia, after 7 hours in the air with 455 passengers aboard. Towering as high as a 7-storey building, the Airbus A380, with a capacity to carry 840 passengers, is the biggest jetliner in the world.
