UPDATE ON SALE OF CRYPTO CURRENCIES

Due to the recent statement from the Central Bank of Nigeria cautioning regulated financial institutions in Nigeria about the risks in enabling cryptocurrency transactions on their channels and the directive that Nigerian financial institutions should no longer entertain cryptocurrencies transactions on their channels, ARIES DYNAMICS, being a pro-establishment and a law abiding sole business entity within Nigeria, would therefore:

(1) Henceforth discontinue all cryptocurrency sales to Nigerians within Nigeria.

(2) Henceforth, the sale of all cryptocurrencies advertised on Ajibola Aries website will be targeted at only interested foreigners who are not resident in Nigeria and Nigerians who are not resident in Nigeria

(3) All local clients who want to pay me for my writing and editing works should henceforth pay only in Naira

(4) All foreign clients who want to pay me for my writing and editing works in cryptocurrencies can continue to do so, since my store of cryptocurrencies would still be relevant and useful to me whenever I travel abroad or in other short term instances like payment for non-Nigerian services and other services outside Nigeria's jurisdiction like Masternode services hosted on foreign hosted websites where cryptocurrencies are the only accepted modes of payment

(5) Certain cryptocurrency-related pages, which have ceased to be relevant due to the new policy shift, are being deleted from this website

(6) The administration of The Liberal and Variety Website shall take further necessary steps to further adjust to, comply with and favour, the policies of the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and its agencies and institutions, as developments unfold

(7) All my Nigerian clients should take this in good faith in view of the fact that as law abiding citizens of Nigeria who reside within the jurisdiction of the Federal Government of Nigeria, we are all bound by the laws of Nigeria and we have to keep abiding with emerging legal trends in order to help the government make things to work well

(8) In the meantime, we can all still remain optimistic, as there remains a very high possibility that, as the noble modern concept behind blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies become better understood in future by our leaders, there would be a favourable change in government policy in future. We hope that just like the governments of a lot of more advanced economies who have embraced or are favourably reckoning with blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, one day the Nigerian government would understand blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies as tools and assets that will complement our financial and economic system rather than what is to be viewed with suspicion.
Till then, we continue to be law abiding, and we continue to hope.
