In one of the latest fightings in the North East region of Nigeria, Chadian troops crossed Lake Chad and engaged Boko Haram rebels, recapturing the town of Malumfatori. The fighting which resulted in the recapture of Malumfatori reported took two days during which both air and ground forces were used.
